WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
1953
The seeds of the business are sown. Established a greenhouse horticultural company with 2,100m² glass panes.
6,000m² vertical glass panes with hot air heating. Expansion to 25,000m² of glass. Tomatoes are grown using tube heating.
1977
1996
RedStar becomes Agricultural Entrepreneur of the Year. RedStar branches out and co-creates Cualin Quality in Spain. RedStar pioneers the growth of the Sunstream tomato.
RedStar opens its innovative packing and distribution centre Poortcamp, De Lier. RedStar becomes the first company in the world to introduce LED lighting in a greenhouse of 8,500m². RedStar Partners a Joint Venture with Thanet Earth in the United Kingdom.
2007
2015
Opening of a hypermodern Ultra-Clima® greenhouse in Dinteloord. RedStar becomes a Top 5 Best Grower in the World Champion. RedStar Partners with Les Domaines from Morocco. Completion of a 3rd glasshouse in Dinteloord, increasing total area to 30 hectares.
2021
RedStar Partners with Amcas Morocco.
